Spirit - Custom Mobile App Development

Spirit - Custom Mobile App Development

Goal

We received a request from a client, who works with Tribes to help them develop responses and resources to develop domestic violence and sexual violence programs. They wanted to get a mobile app made for their work with tribal campuses to use to help students and faculty. In other words, they wanted to create a guide for Tribal students and Tribal College Campuses/ Universities to be better prepared when dealing with cases of Sexual Assault.

Solution

To address the client's requirements, we implemented a comprehensive solution involving the creation of mobile apps for both iOS and Android Platforms. There are two types of resources, one for students and another one for the faculty, where both sides can find useful content:

Resources for Students:
- Information about Sexual Assault
- Prevention
- Victim Rights
- Self-Care Tools

Resources for Faculty:
- Reporting Resources
- Information about Sexual Assault
- Self-Care Tools
- Supporting Victims of Sexual Assault

The client also wanted a biometric authorization for an app; when the app starts, it requires the use of one of the available methods (depending on the device) such as: Face ID, Fingerprint, PIN, etc. Otherwise, the app closes.

Technologies

Alamofire, Biometric Authorization, Clean architecture, Realm, DB: Room, Jetpack Compose, JSON, Koin, Kotlin, Local DB, Moshi, MVVM, OkHTTP, REST API, Retrofit, Rich Text, SnapKit, Swift, Text-to-Speech, AVSpeechSynthesizer, UIKit + Combine, Webview
