Both. Audit phases are fixed-price. Refactoring work can be either fixed-price (when scope is well-defined after the audit) or T&M (when scope is expected to evolve). We discuss which fits your project during the proposal stage.

The break-point is usually team size and codebase complexity - one engineer can handle a small SaaS prototype, but a multi-module marketplace or a fintech app with compliance requirements typically needs a coordinated team that can hold a shared mental model of the system. What If We Want to Walk Away After the Audit?

That's fine. The audit deliverable is yours to keep and use - take it to another team, do the work in-house, or come back to us later. We don't lock you in.
